About

Turning complexity into clarity.

I’m Kalanit (Kylie) Decker, a product and UX/UI designer. I turn complex requirements and real user needs into clear, efficient interfaces, from the first research to the shipped screen.

Experience

Most recently I was the sole product designer at Nemesh, an early-stage startup. I took its invoice-scanning technology from concept to an investor-facing MVP, owning the design end to end: product definition with the founders, user research, the full UX and UI, a design system, and developer handoff. I also designed and built the company’s marketing site in Framer, learning the tool myself to save the company development costs.

The MVP proved the technology, but the product around it was still open. Since then I have kept going on my own, expanding it into a fuller AI-powered platform designed for BPO firms processing thousands of invoices across dozens of client accounts, with role-based permissions, analytics and billing.

How I build

I start with research to surface the real pain points, then shape the flows and structure around them before any interface work. The interface sits on a system where components, states and edge cases hold as the product grows. I use AI across the whole process to work faster, and I take designs through to a running product, this portfolio included.

Education

I studied graphic design, UX/UI and interactive design at the Holon Institute of Technology (HIT), and Framer at Flux Academy.
